THIS IS A CROCK!!!!!!! I'm not a homeowner, but a renter. Just two days ago (5/6/11) my landlord told me that I would have to move from their rental property, because BANK OF AMERICA would not assist them with a loan modification to keep their home on 723 Daffodil Drive in Benicia, California. Now their home is in foreclosure and they will be moving into the home I rent from them. My landlords are good, honest people. They have done everything in their power to keep their home and NO ONE HELPED THEM. What happened to helping hardworking people stay in their homes? Where's the truth in that? The morale of the American Homeowner is quickly declining by FALSE PROMISES!!! Easier said thann done. Again, I'm a renter and I'm affected by this greatly. I have moved 4 times in the last 3 years and now I have to move again!!!!! And why did this happen to me? Because of auctions, short sales, foreclosures. So tell me, where am I going to move me and my two kids in the next 30 days? Who is going to help me pay for the deposit? Who is going to help this single mom move our belongings to a new place?

Good Article. We believe the loan modifications will continue into 2012. There is no way many homeowners will be able to remain in their homes otherwise and there is no way the banks can absorb all those home on their balance sheets through foreclosure.
